Repairs and maintains biomedical and electronic systems throughout the hospital
Read English and interprets owners and operators service manuals for the electronic equipment and systems
Must also be able to move up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
This involves reaching about the head and with arms full extended
Documentation of complete work is required.

Provides in-service training for equipment users and associated staff
This requires ability to communicate to other individuals the technical and operational points of interest on equipment
This is frequently to a group of approximately 20 staff members.

Work includes wire pull projects, modifications of equipment, participation in meetings and other duties as assigned.

Ability to take call, as scheduled, to respond to equipment breakdowns and failures.

Documentation of work and job functions is included on a regular basis and is kept timely and up-to-date including work order requests, preventive maintenance procedures and other necessary job history documentation.
