Express Employment has partnered with a Warehouse company in Kenosha seeking Overnight Warehouse Associates (Temp to Hire)
Job Summary:
An overnight warehouse worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a warehouse during nighttime hours. They are responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform order picking and packing in a warehouse environment
Load and unload products from trucks, using proper handling techniques.
- Safely secure products for transport, preventing damage or breakage.
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities, including sorting, organizing, and inventory management. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong order picking skills with attention to detail
- Experience working in a warehouse setting
- Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Background check is required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
- Drug test is done upon successful interview
- Must have proof of High School Diploma or GED
Overnight Schedule:
- 7:30PM-4:00AM Sunday-Thursday
This position requires individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are also important.
