Description

Perform the functions of corporate pricing including reviewing and implementing price changes based on internal requests. Assist in establishing prices for new products, programs, customers, contracts, etc. Maintain accurate price files for US and International operations. Coordinate the creation and distribution of required price lists, including in requested currencies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the pricing systems and their capabilities related to product price information, product costs, discount management and sales prices.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of price change processes; complete price updates in a timely manner, validating all changes.
  • Communicate and generate price changes for domestic or subsidiary markets, producing catalog price lists for distribution to end customers.
  • Coordinate with business leaders on creation and distribution of pricing materials.
  • Create and run ad-hoc queries and reports for price analysis and review.
  • Recommend and work with management to implement process improvements to ensure accurate and consistent price reporting.
  • Own the accuracy and completeness of process documentation for assigned pricing tasks.
  • Support open interdepartmental communication and collaboration to ensure a holistic understanding of organizational pricing.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field with a strong analytical background
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business or pricing environment
  • Broad analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making ability with willingness to accept responsibility
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel and Access; SQL query skills are essential
  • Background with corporate ERP system is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Snap-on product lines is a plus
