RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT
Willowbrook Assisted Living

Willowbrook Assisted Living is a community-based residential facility (CBRF) owned and operated by Kenosha County.  We are located at 3508 Washington Road in Kenosha, Wisconsin, adjacent to Brookside Care Center.  We can serve up to 24 individuals with advanced age and/or dementia/Alzheimer’s disease and those 55 years and older.

Our mission is to maintain our residents’ independence and individuality by providing care and assistance in a supervised setting that looks and feels like home.  Our level of service is greater than basic room and board and less than skilled nursing care.  We offer a complete line of services, which include help with medications, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, activities of daily living, social and leisure activities, and help with getting transportation to appointments and community activities.  Our goal is for the resident to be healthy, happy, and as independent as possible for as long as possible with the assistance and care of our staff.

We are dedicated to the model of Person Directed Care and work closely with our residents and their families to develop a plan of care designed around each resident’s goals.  Our staff of highly trained professionals understands that the needs of each resident are as unique as the individual and will build on their personal strengths through enabling residents to feel valued and empowered by treating them with respect and dignity.

This position works under the general direction of the Willowbrook Manager, responsible for enriching our residents’ lives by helping create an environment that promotes a high quality of life through recreational programming.
