The Facility Action Coordinator will order equipment, track delivery, develop quotes and maintain support for the field sales team. This role is to manage a project from the point of ordering to complete delivery, including billing. This is a crucial role linking our sales force with customer service and communication. The Facility Action Coordinator will have a:

  • Fundamental understanding of program management, operations, distribution, delivery performance and quality management system
  • Fundamental understanding of root cause analysis, lean tools, procurement and supply chain management

Responsibilities

  • Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures.*
  • Process customer invoicing, credits and re-bills.*
  • Procure product information from vendors for the end user and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).*
  • Negotiate pricing for large quantity purchases.
  • Process large orders.*
  • Coordinate ship dates with vendors*
  • Make facility binders for new dealers and RSMs.*
  • Take daily calls from RSMs and manufacturing reps. for pricing, and specifications.*
  • Read blueprints.*
  • Work with engineering, Design Group and Algona plant for new Build-A-Bay or Facility Action.*
  • Perform credit reviews.*
  • Maintain Backorder status report.*
  • Maintain Hold invoice report.*
  • Track sales dollars and margins in Excel and Sales force. com.*
  • Work with accounting on collections.
  • Report project status for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Account Management teams.*
  • Operate in accordance to the company safety guidelines.*
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley compliancy for assigned work.*

Qualifications

  • Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook a must. Knowledge using Baan, LN (ERP), Power Point, WebEx Software and Salesforce.com a plus.
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner when dealing with employees, vendors, customers and company contacts.
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Some college experience or equivalent post high school education.
