Location: Snap-on Corporate Offices located at 2801 80th Street, Kenosha, WI
Schedule: In-person, approximately 15 – 20 hours a week with the ability to adapt work hours to accommodate school schedules.
Position Summary: Provide administrative and recruiting support to the Corporate Human Resources team. This position will have the opportunity to rotate to different HR teams for a comprehensive HR learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting- assist with various recruiting activities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Monitor applicants, review resumes and create job postings within Snap-on’s applicant tracking system
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
- Conduct phone screenings
- Schedule, send and review video interviews
- Draft offer letters
- Attend recruiting events and career fairs
- Onboarding & Personnel Files- provide ongoing administrative support for the new associate onboarding process by:
- Assembling new employee orientation packets
- Auditing new hire paperwork and files, including Form I-9s
- Removing and organizing terminated associate personnel files
- General HR Support- provide various ongoing administrative support to the corporate HR team through:
- Scanning and filing documents
- Conducting various internal audits
- Assisting with administrative support of various ongoing HR projects and compliance programs
- Update and maintain job descriptions
- Shadow HR in other Snap-on business units to get a better understanding of jobs and recruiting functions
- Participate in various department and internship learning opportunities
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- This position is a college internship and eligible students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program pursuing a bachelor’s in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience using Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service
