Location: Snap-on Corporate Offices located at 2801 80th Street, Kenosha, WI
Schedule: In-person, approximately 15 – 20 hours a week with the ability to adapt work hours to accommodate school schedules.
Position Summary: Provide administrative and recruiting support to the Corporate Human Resources team. This position will have the opportunity to rotate to different HR teams for a comprehensive HR learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Compensation- assist with various compensation activities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Job match existing and new roles
- Evaluate current grade ranges
- Take inventory of all job codes and standardize job code fields within the HR system
- Manage confidential information discreetly
- Participate in salary survey data collection
- General HR Support- provide various ongoing administrative support to the corporate HR team through:
- Scanning and filing documents and other various clean-up projects
- Assist associates with self-service troubleshooting
- Update communications relating but not limited to Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Run month end reports for financial accounting
- Participate in testing of new HRIS system and creation of user guides for implementation
- Perform various audits relating to Employee Stock Purchase Plan and HRIS system implementation
- Assist with on-campus volunteer events
- Assist Retirement Plans team with ad hoc requests
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- This position is a college internship and eligible students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program pursuing a bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Experience using Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service
