Responsibilities

Position Summary: 

Responsible for strategic optimization of Snap-on Tools customer-facing marketing support programs, including point-of-sale. Delivering a variety of marketing approaches, maximizing investments, and ensuring Snap-on franchisees have the support required to be the highlight of their customers’ week, every week.

Key Tasks:

  • Lead concept development, core messaging and copy writing for marketing communications materials across print and electronic communication vehicles.
    • Specialty Flyers and Strategy
    • Special Sales Programs
    • Partners in Profitability
    • Tool Storage Accessory Program
    • Seasonal Promotions or Similar
    • Specialty Vehicle Creative Support
    • Monthly Sales Presentations for $2 Million + Programs
  • Development of Emerging Marketing Capabilities & Technologies - Print on Demand and Franchisee Customization of Merchandise Kits
  • Manage the collaboration and coordination of the monthly merchandise kit program with internal stakeholders, as well as outside agencies and suppliers. Assure accuracy and adhere to timelines.
  • Responsible for creating and managing cost­ effective project plans, estimating budgets and resources, and managing the production process.
  • Evaluate performance of marketing and promotional campaigns and analyze campaigns to recommend improvements. Continuously looks for ways to improve processes to eliminate waste and cost.

Qualifications

  • BA in Marketing, Bus Administration Graphic Design, journalism, or communications.
  • 10 years of Marketing, sales, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of project management, product planning, promotions, marketing, social media, print production, distribution, and sales.
  • Organizational abilities for administration, tracking and scheduling of projects & programs.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of management internal and external (national sales mgr, regional managers, regional sales developers, business managers; customer care; product directors and managers, etc.)
  • Ability to take product ideas from concept to sales execution stage, while meeting financial and operational goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent communications skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
