Job Summary:
The Sr. Sales and Marketing Analyst will report directly to the Customer Insights Manager and is accountable for ensuring our sales team, marketing team, consumer insights, and cross-functional teams are equipped with timely, accurate, and robust updates on our business performance, drivers, and opportunities.
This role will work closely across the Customer Development Organization (customer insights, sales, customer success, logistics) and Consumer Insights to ensure consistent internal business reporting that ultimately benefits our customers, shoppers, and consumers. The role will have exposure and a pivotal part in Consumer Insights, R&D and Innovation projects and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source, monitor, and analyze syndicated POS market data - identifying market trends, and/or opportunities (Nielsen, Circana (IRI), SPINS)
- Analyze and report on shopper and household behavior utilizing syndicated panel data (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator)
- Leverage third party syndicated trend reports within business and sales analysis (Mintel, Innova, Kantar, Hartman Group, etc.)
- Build data assets to be leveraged by the field sales team with a particular focus on our growing distribution across Retail and Club channel business
- Deliver category analysis for category and account reviews
- Responsible for Monthly Performance Analysis and KPI tracking
- Maintain item setup tools and reporting platforms
- Assists in the management, development, and execution of category strategies in alignment with National and Regional Retail account priorities
- Execute and develop sell stories for new distribution, set expansions, category reviews and promotional reviews from initial outline through data analysis and completion within agreed upon timelines
- Provide support and training to sales and marketing organization on all POS measures, platforms, and analyses as needed while creating Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for reporting
- Support ongoing projects as new category strategies and stories are developed
- Comply with all company rules, regulations, and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Additional Skills:
- 5+ years business experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics or Business-related field
- 3+ years’ experience working with and/or managing syndicated POS and Panel data
(SPINS/Nielsen/Numerator)
- Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical thinking skills and quick acclimation to systems
- Ability to communicate with data and information (in both oral and visual presentations), in a clear, concise (+fun) fashion
- Ability to collect data, establish facts, and present go-forward recommendations for business decisions.
- Learn quickly and work well independently, yet effectively in a team environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining ability to make sound decisions
Travel:
- This position will not require travel

- Offices with equipment noise
- Offices with frequent interruptions
- Mostly indoor office environment with windows
- If time is needed in the plant, the employee will then be subject to a production environment (wet environment with temperatures in the range of 38 to 40 degrees)
- Medium/High noise levels from operating machines
- Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts
- Required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to enforce Good Food Manufacturing (GMP’s) processes
