DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY 

As the Sales and Business Development Representative, your primary objective will be to develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships focused on organic growth through both new and existing customers for CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, tool & die, and metal punch/stamping.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve business/sales targets through effective management of new customer accounts and maintain current customer accounts.
  • Identify and target potential clients in various industries who require precision machining and manufacturing services.
  • Effectively pitch to both small-medium sized regional accounts, as well as large corporate and national accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation methods.
  • Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of all Styberg Engineering services and product lines. Emphasize the features and benefits of our machinery, and capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough research on client needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position our machine shop's services.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits with prospective clients to understand their requirements and showcase our machining capabilities.
  • Develop and present customized proposals, quotes, and estimates to clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, to ensure maximum revenue and profit development to align with our strategic goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Gather, report, and communicate customers’ feedback on service, technology, and product delivery.
  • Measures, tracks, and analyzes key account metrics.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of previous experience in sales and/or key account management within a manufacturing setting, strong preference for metal fabrication or contract manufacturing  experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and PC tools.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong team player with the ability to effectively interact with all business units.
  • An energetic and honest individual with high ethical standards.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to convert prospects into closed sales.
  • Strong sales reporting and analysis skills.
